3 Stars Broken plastic hook
The yellow plastic hook on one rod was broken on receipt of unit.I called and received another set immediately.The hook broke when assembling unit.There is not enough clearance for 2 thicknesses of plastic sheet.
Maybe change material as well.

2 Stars Unstable
I have dogs and, within about two weeks, they had knocked my bin down. The stakes and flimsy plastic clips don’t stay in place and don’t stay upright. The bin doesn’t hold up to any sort of critter: dogs, raccoons, etc. If it weren’t for its vulnerablility to animals, the geobin would work well. I ended up putting a wood frame and fencing around it to help it stay upright. I got rid of the plastic clips and stakes.
2 Stars Good idea, poorly executed.
The concept for this compost bin is good, and the plastic sidewall certainly seems durable. The real issue I had was the plastic stakes that are supposed to anchor it to the ground. They are, no exaggeration, 1 inch longer than the side of the bin which means there is only 1 inch of stake in the ground. I was setting the bin up on a breezy day day and the whole thing kept blowing away. I was finally able to get it to work by buying longer plastic garden stakes. Honestly, an extra $.50 worth of plastic and this would have been a much better product.
