Easy to Use
Simply insert a Plant Nanny stake into the soil near the plant. After filling a globe hold a finger over the end to seal it. Turn the globe over and release it as you set it in the stake. Plants roots will grow around the stake and use water more efficiently. The water level will be visible through the glass so you will know when to water.

5 Stars Far superior to Aqua Globes
Wow, these are much nicer than Aqua Globes! They are superior for several reasons:
*These are much easier to fill. The Aqua Globes have a small opening, so it takes forever to fill the entire thing up. These globes have a much larger opening and it takes mere seconds to fill them up.
*These don’t get clogged with dirt. Aqua Globes have a long stem that you insert into the dirt and they constantly get clogged and, as a result, no water comes out and your plants dry up. These globes are inserted into a ceramic “Plant Nanny” and never get clogged up.
*You don’t have to make a new hole every time you refill the globe with water. You leave the ceramic “Plant Nanny” in the pot and simply remove the globe to refill it with water. Couldn’t be easier!
The ONLY negative thing I can say about these is that the colors are slightly too muted and practically look clear when filled with water. The Aqua Globes are a bit prettier.
In conclusion, I highly recommend these globes. I think you’ll be happy with them and I’m sure your plants will be as well!
5 Stars Just what I wanted
The Plant Nannys are beautiful and decorative, but they are practical and work. I purchased them as Christmas gifts and they were a success. I have them in all of my house plants.
5 Stars Look like ice cream cones and make you feel almost as good!
I was torn between the colorful ‘aqua globes’ as seen on TV and these. These were more expensive but obviously bigger. I opted for these and am so glad I did. Right after I received these, a friend gave me the aqua globes as a gift.
I like these much better for several reasons…. They hold more water, the stem stays in the dirt so you are not constantly making new holes as well as not plugging up the hole with dirt as you push it down, it is easy to see when more water is needed and it is much easier to fill just the globe (which has a much bigger hole.) The stem supports the globe so it stays straight and does not lean over like the taller aqua globes.
While the water does not seem to last as long as they say it will, my plants are thriving and have never looked better.
These are not as pretty as the aqua globes, but seem to disappear rather than stand out in my plants…. which I like.
Give ‘em a try…. they are worth the extra money.

I bought these for my mother-in-law for Christmas and she loves them! The colors are great and subtle and the plants are really thriving! In fact she wants me to purchase another set.
